The aim of the HMO Network is to promote a clear understanding of the wide range of matters associated the Housing Act 2004 and associated Regulations as they relate to houses in multiple occupation, and to share information, skills and experience amongst interested parties.
The Network is made up of a membership of interested parties with a Steering Group of co-opted and elected members that provides direction and focus for the Network. The Steering group meets between 3 and 4 times per year, including meeting after any conference held.
The Steering Group appoints officers as it deems necessary including but not limited to, Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. Members of the Steering Group must attend at least 50% of the Steering Group meetings within a 12 month period.
